The Head of the Intellectual Property Department at the University of Melbourne has joined the list of ADP experts

Professor Andrew Christie, Head of the Department of Intellectual Property at the University of Melbourne has joined our roster of experts. The professor is a specialist in International Intellectual Property Law, with a CV rich in practical experience and impressive qualifications.

Andrew Christie holds a BA and MA (Hons) in Laws from the University of Melbourne, an LLM from the University of London, and a Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge. He is licensed to practice law in Australia and the United Kingdom and has worked in the intellectual property departments of law firms in Melbourne and London. A former Fulbright Scholar, he has held research and teaching positions at the University of Cambridge, Duke University, the National University of Singapore and the University of Toronto.

The Professor has served on the Australian Government’s Advisory Committees on Intellectual Property – the Copyright Law Review Committee, the Intellectual Property Advisory Council and the Plant Breeders’ Rights Advisory Committee – and has been an expert advisor to the World Intellectual Property Organization on a number of occasions
